Join us for a very special Whitaker Jazz Speaks event as Jazz St. Louis President and CEO Victor Goines interviews David Sanborn! We’ll hear Sanborn’s perspective on the rich cultural and societal elements of the St. Louis jazz scene of the mid-20th century and how those elements informed his development as a musician. There will be a Q&A opportunity for the audience following the interview. St. Louis musicians will then perform the music associated with Gaslight Square and the St. Louis jazz community. Please note that David Sanborn will not be performing at this event - that’s for later in the week!
